Emergency Contraception Emergency Contraception (EC) reduces your risk of pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex or when a birth control method fails. EC is available at WHCC. Existing clients may be able to have the prescription called in to a pharmacy. If you have not been seen at WHCC, call Women's Health & Counseling Center (908-526-2335) for a screening questionnaire to determine your eligibility. Sexual Assault Support Services Sexual Assault Support Services provide the following services in Somerset County: crisis phone and in-person counseling for sexual assault survivors, family members and friends; and police and hospital accompaniment. These 24-hour services can be accessed through the 24-hour hotline. |
